Hi all, for your reference in case the same happens to you.
I had an issue where I couldn’t connect to the magnet console from the work station.
It didn’t show up in the list of available instruments when you log on. There appeared to be a workstation with the correct IP for the magnet but If I connected, it acted like a workstation only. ( no spectrometer control ).
It had Bill, Ian V and I stumped but an engineer in Singapore solved it and it seemed the nmr somehow got blocked by the firewall.
